ebay chargers - trusted or not?

Hello everybody,

I noticed a lot of offers on Ebay for Magnatic or Cradle chargers that is for Sony Z1 (and compatable with most of Z products)
Did anyone tried these ones? is it trusted ? Cause the prices are really good comparing it with Sony website. ( 5 U.S dollars comparing to 39 U.S Dollars) ???

I have got a magnetic cable for Z1 from ebay for about 6.5 $ and it works great.

is it safe to use this? and considering the price why is it so much cheaper than what Sony sells?

Please always be cautious regarding third party chargers as variations in hardware/voltage etc can lead to damaging your phone.

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

I didn't go so far as a magnetic dock.I would have chosen Sony for a dock,as Sam said you have to be cautious when using 3rd party docks or accessories.
