Contact numbers lost

Hi

I was deleting the cache data of my running applications to free up memory. Now I am not able to view any of my contact number in the contact list. Also whenever I add new contacts its not adding to my contact list.

Can some one help

Sounds like your filter settings have been reset.

Go to Contacts > Press your menu-button (the one with three dots) > Filter > If Online contacts is marked, unmark this box. Go to Local contact > Mark "All other contacts". Do the same thing for your Google-account under Local contact if you have saved your contacts on Google.

If the old contacts is not displayed they are unfortunately gone and if you have not made a backup on them you are unable to restore them.

It shouldn't be necessary to do this, or if it is the phone should suggest to do it in the first place.

I've lost 10 years of phone numbers, all gone because I've cleaned the cache, which I did because the phone said it didn't have any space left, when it had...

Who to charge for this, nobody I know. I bought my Xperia L in 2 months and it's always happening something that make me want to sell this.
