Acro S fastboot mode

Hello,

I'm owner of a recently successfully unlocked Acro S. Therefore fastboot worked at some point with my phone.

Now after a failed attempt to install CyanogenMod and some ill-conceived flashing of an older stock ROM I big functionality problems.

But the important part is that I can't enter fastboot anymore. When I try to connect in fastboot mode like I did before successfully, there is no blue light at any time, it always enters charging mode. Flash mode is still working fine.

I know that there is no problem with cable or drivers, I strongly suspect a problem on the part of the phone.

Ideas?

PS: The service info tool now tells me that bootloader unlock is not allowed on this device, is that normal after already doing it?

If your phone is working then i suspect all this failed flashing you have done has changed the eeprom or some other partition and as such has disabled Fastboot - however if your phone isn't working and Flashmode works then you can manually flash your device using Flashtool along with a .ftf firmware file

I know, I just don't have any working .ftf on hand.

Btw does flashing this way overwrite everything or does something from recovery or whatnot stay untouched?

Ignore the title but do follow the guide

Manual flashing will return your phone to stock but will not replace DRM keys or fix the bootloader unlock allowed state

Thanks for the quick replies, keep them coming Slightly_smiling_Face

Unfortunatly it didn't work. I flashed successfully (using the closest version to Germany I could find which by my guess Custom CH), but I still have a phone that boots just fine but doesn't like my SIM (except for the PIN), only finds a few WLANs (of course not my own which should be the strongest), asks for a language on every boot....and also still doesn't fastboot.

I originaly followed this guide and somehow failed after fastboot-flashing the boot.img. Next up, the boot process got stuck at a flickering Xperia logo. On that subject, I've never seen the recovery mode of my phone...I never tried in stock and I don't know how to get there now. Tapping screen or pressing buttons didn't do anything.

The recovery would be a custom recovery and it now sounds like the base band has also been altered - you could look into how to change this but I don't think you will have much luck

So? Therefore? Bricked? Slightly_frowning_Face

Can't the flashtool do something useful here? I think I remember seeing a screenshot with a baseband component in the firmware selector of the flashtool, so is there a firmware download that could fix it?

And I still don't know how I would get into recovery mode. I assume it's the same method for both stock and custom recovery?
