can anyone recomend a  photo viwer that will read from the SD card evrything I have looked at only appear to read from the internal memory

It is possible to get a photo-viewing app to load from the SD, but only from the File-Transfer app.

File manager apps like ES File expert or File Manager HD have both a picture gallery function which can be used to watch your images. Did you try already?

You could try file manager HD. I use it to play music and watch video directly from the SD card. I've not used it for photos but it's worth a go
