Here's my issue , on occasion when I open up for example mk video player , I find on playback that audio is missing, I then close the application and try music player instead and find audio playback is missing too. This is on both internal (headphones) and external speakers too. Normally a switch on and off will reset things and audio comes back. Othertimes I have to fiddle by opening and closing various media apps to get audio to come back to life again. This is happening more and more and whilst originally a mild inconvenience, is now becoming irritating . Has anyone else had this problems and more importantly has anyone got a simple workaround. Has a setting changed is what i a m thinking, like when I downloaded mk player from marketplace ?
Hey Hip Hop Rob
OK so JUST FOR YOU I put MX Video Player onto my Tableux and uploaded an MKV of Alien Resurrection.
Here's the Media Info:
When it's on hardware rendering mode, the sound cuts out if I use the AC-3 track. Switch to software and it's fine. So, presumably, the Codec that comes with the MX Video Player just hates it.
Swap to track 2, the 2-channel track, and HW and SW work fine.
Try using MediaInfo on your file? See what codecs are in it?
