sony nw zx100 connection to fiio q5s

hi community,

i've just purchased a fiio q5s and i'm hoping to use it with a cable connection to my sony walkman. 

any information on getting the best sound from this combo will be very much appreciated.

I think the only option is, to connect the fiio to the headphone output of the Walkman.

to get the best from ZX100 and your portable dac is to use the digital audio out.

Fiio is selling a special sony connector to micro USB (Fiio L27) check out their website or amazon

Thank you for your reply Peter, i am using the bluetooth connection and i am surprised at how much better the sound quality is than when i connect it using the headphone output.
