NW-A45

Hi,

I have NW-A45. I find that the Audio volume output is very low when the output is from a wired connection compared to the Bluetooth connection. Is there any settings which can increase the wired connection output. As I do not have bluetooth in my Audio system, I have to use a wired connection unfortunately.

thank you in advance.

I'm pretty sure what you're experiencing is the effect of AVLS which is an automatic volume limit that doesn't affect Bluetooth output. Checkout the Help Guide page for it.

Sony' s Walkman have to follow europeen regulation for audio output which is quite low if you use wire connection. To bypass it you will have to use google ^^ to look for the way to do it

Hi,

You can fix the volume limitation by using the Sony NW Dest Tool. It's not difficult & I can confirm that it works as my UK spec NW-A45 is set to USA setting, the sound is louder & bass is fuller. Just google "SonyNWDestTool Rockbox.org" or go straight here - https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SonyNWDestTool .

This is working 100% guaranteed.

Thanks
