Connect WalkmanNW-A55L to Sony In-Car Audio Ford Fiesta 2013
Hi
Just taken in a Ford Fiesta 2013, for a daily runaround, that has a Sony In-Car Audio pre-installed by the manufacturer. I have attempted to linking the Walkman through the USB connection, but without success. Is my only alternative to link into the speakers through the Aux connection?
Any help would be welcome.......
Regards Roger

You can connect them using the aux connection pretty easily, it's a universal connection which doesn't need any form of "handshake" like USB, so should work flawlessly.

OK. Thank you. I'll give that a try. It just seems a pity that I am unable to take advantage of the technology provided by the the Car ICE.

Unfortunately, I'm not really that familiar with this car system, do you have a model number for it? We can usually look it up and check the manuals for some pointers.

depends of you model but if you have an USB aux then it should work but only via the Car interface browser
So you'll have to dig into the folders to play music because the walman is recognized only as an external memory device.
You also should set on the walkman the USB as storage device in the option
