Alarm Clock ICF-C1PJ buzzes during 1 minute despite radio settings

Hi there,

I've some problems setting my ICF-C1PJ clock radio. 

I've followed all the directions to have a radio alarm being set at 06:50.

I've been through some trials and everything seems to work correctly : the radio switchs on and the volume level increases progressively.

However when the alarm actually goes off at 06:50, the radio wakes up together with an iratating buzz sound that lasts 1 minute and cannot be stopped (the radio does stop).

I think the clock is trying to signal something wrong.

Has anyone had the same situation ?

Hi zech_64,

Welcome to the community. 

Please read the Setting the Alarm section in the manual. It looks like there is a dual alarm function which allows you to set two alarm programs (ALARM A and ALARM B). Perhaps you have a 2nd alarm going off at the same time, which is set to 'BUZZ'?

Effectively I have two alarms set.

The 1st one is on weekdays with radio

The 2nd one is on weekend with nature sound

But the two times are different (6:50 and 8:15).

The weirdest thing is that today (Saturday), the unwanted buzz alarm went on at 06:50 (and not the radio one) and the nature alarm went on at 8:15.

I'm really out of ideas about what's going on. I've reread entirely the manual and done lots of testing, but when I test, I never trigger this buzz alarm !
