VGN-NS21Z wlan-adapter not detected

hi,

I installed a new vista on the VGN-NS21Z with the drivers provided on the sony website.

All hardware except for the wireless lan adapter is working fine.

In the device manager is a "network adapter" without driver showing up, the driver from the sony website is not recognized.

Anyone knows which chipset this wlan-adapter is?

I returned to Sony Style a new factory-configured VGN-Z3 with Vista Ultimate for the same reason: no WLAN in the device list and an error on a network adapter.

Customer support ran out of ideas after a system restore (which restored the system to the faulty state). I suspected it was a hardware malfunction and was about to purchase another unit, but if this problem is widespread... What if the second one doesn´t work either?
