VAIO VGN-SR19VN Power supply and warrangty issues

I purchased the above machin last November from Israel distributor Life Computers. Since some 4 weeks, this company has shut its doors to business.
What implications does this have on the 3 year warranty??

Furthermore, my Power Pack charges my VAIO only to 80% charge and the stops charging.
How can I rectify thsi so that battery gets fully charged???

This will depend on whether it is a Sony warranty or a distributor warranty.

Have you registered your Vaio with Sony? I believe Israel is covered by Sony Europe although there is no designated help area. Check with them the status of your warranty.

The Vaio charges the battery to 80% because you have the battery care function enabled. This is designed to extend battery life by only charging the battery to 80%.

You can turn this off and charge the battery to 100%. Go to Start -> VAIO Control Center -> System Information -> VAIO Status Monitor -> Power/Performance Settings -> Battery Care Function. Well hidden isn't it?
