The same thing has just started happening to my Vaio VGN-FZ21Z.
The computer gets extremely hot and then the screen pixelates into a corduroy mishmash of colours as described by other people with this problem.
What is Sony doing about it?
I'm a month out of warranty. What recourse do I have?
