Click to DVD, doesn't write to DVD's (RW)
Hey you all,
In novembre i baught a PCV-RXG408, and in the past week I wanted to write a dvd-rw disc with all the shows and movies i'd recorded on Giga pocket.
But what's the problem; when i did all to begin writing a dvd (menu, titles and graphics), via Click2dvd, i get an error: can't write to this disc, load another dvd-r or rw...
But the disc i've inserted, it's a Sony DVD-rw... What can i do to solve this problem, because i'm beginning to ask myself why i've got a dvd-rewriter, when it doesn't work at all.
Please can someone help me?
And besides that, why has the Vaio no Sony dvd-writer onboard?
Greetz and thanking in advance, GAAF!

The disc you are trying to use may be defective. Try another one. Also try a CD-R/W as a test.

I've taken the dvd disc directly out of the cd-box.
So that can't be the reason, but the idea to use a recordable cd... i could try thatone
Has anyone else an idea, if this doesn't work?

Unfortunately, discs can be bad right out of the box!
Name brands are usually more reliable, but even they have the occasional bad batch.
