TV music streaming question

I have a Sony KDL46HX803U. I have it connected to my Virgin superhub with an ethernet cable and am picking up the web - utube etc.

I want to be able to stream video and music to the TV from my PC via the virgin wifi superhub.

Is this possible with the TV connected to the wifi hub with the ethernet cable. (i do not have a dongle fitted)

When I search for the PC I can not find it on the network to set up the streaming.
