Hi,
I`ve had the Sony Bravia KDL-42W706B for sometime now and never had any problems with it. I`ve recently bought some wireless headphones - Kamtron Levin Bluetooth Headphones. They pair correctly with my phone and my laptop but when I try to pair with the TV all I get is a "No Devices Found" message. So it`s not finding the headphones or any other bluetooth devices. Bluetooth is turned on but it just will not find the headphones.
The laptop and the phone can find the TV but the TV will not find any bluetooth device apparently.
Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Hi there,
Have you updated to the latest firmware?
Best wishes,
M
Hi Michael.
Thanks for your reply. Yes, as far as I know it`s on the latest firmware. TV tells me it`s this:
Software Version:PKG3.004EUA
When I try to update it tells me I`m on the latest version (Or no new versions are available)
Sorry... that smily was NOT meant to be there.

Hi @tjc101
I cannot even find Bluetooth included in the UK Specification let alone the A2DP Bluetooth Profile required to connect to Bluetooth headphones and speakers.
I would rate the chances of your TV having the A2DP profile as zero. It will probably only pick up keyboards or mice. This is very common with Sony TVs before 2016 or not top of the range models.
Hi @LightFoot
Thanks for your reply.
Very disappointing to hear that I won`t be able to use bluetooth devices with the TV. Bit of a wind up that the TV has Bluetooth (apparently) and it is "On" but doesn`t really work at all.
