how can I turn off the autodimming for KDL-32EX302 ?

Hello,

I would apreciate so much if someone could help me to turn off the autodimming for a Sony Bravia KDL-32EX302 ? I asked for help several times to online support, no helpfull answer till now.

No results after firmware updates.

Hi George,

welcome to Questions & Answers..:smileyhappy:

Click Home on the TV remote to bring up i-Manual.

Select Settings

Then select Eco.

You should then see Light Sensor.

Turn this off should stop your picture brightness from autodimming..:smileywink:

Hi Thalamus,

Thanks for help!  I don't remember for sure if I found this option (I'm not at home right now), but surely I've turned off all settings I've found, including Adv. Contrast Enhacer. But the autodimming persists (dark scenes becames darker, very annoying). It seems to be a tehnical issue, but the response from the service was 'there are no technical problems'. I think they should have know better than me to make settings

Anyway, I will check again if Light Sensor could be turned off. If you know any other setings that could help, please help!
