Cannot connect HP laptop to Sony Bravia tv

I cannot connect my HP laptop to the TV via cable.

Sony Bravia KD49XF7093 LED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV

I can connect it to other TVs. Any idea what the problem is? The cable works with other devices, and I select the right input.

which settings did you choose for your display output on your computer? You can access these settings by right clicking on the desktop.
