analog out on sony kdl40nx713

Hi guys,

any help will be greatly appreciated. I recently purchased this tv ( kdl40nx713) and I am trying to connect the analog audio out on it (R+L) to my old Pioneer hifi system's  phono input socket. Unfortunately I cannot get any sound. I used to be able to do that on an old Bravia I had. The hifi is old and does not have any digital input socket, so optical and hdmi is not an option.

Any suggestion? Am I missing something; is there any settings on the tv I should be enabling?

As far as I'm aware, that TV doesn't have an Analog Out option?

had a similar thing with philips system, i used the head phone socket in the end
