Amazon Prime and Netflix no longer working on Sony Bravia

I have a Sony Bravia KDL-47W807A and both Netflix and Amazon Prime (previously LoveFilm) applications were working fine until recently I keep getting network errors everytime I try to watch any show. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix it?

Thank you

Hi there

Are you using Wifi to connect your TV to your home network?  If so, try plugging in a LAN cable as a test to see if that resolves the issue.

Hello,

I've also found I have a problem accessing Amazon Instant Video. I've recently bought a

Sony KDL-32W705B and when you click on the Amazon instant video app, a message saying 'this service is not available'. I phoned customer support today and they suggested resetting the TV to factory settings, but this didn't have any effect.

I had a look on the SEN website, and there's instructions to activate your HDTV, but the instuctions given don't seem relevant to my model of TV. It tells you there's a 'Link an Account' option within the SEN menu, but this TV doesn't have this menu.

Does anyone have any tips on getting this to work, or is it a known fault with the TV?

thanks in advance,

"The Amazon/LOVEFiLM service is currently not available for 2014 Blu-ray and TV products. Our respective teams are working as hard as possible to release all new applications as soon as possible, but we cannot give an absolute date at this stage."
