i have been looking for a good solution to connect a wireless headsett to my tv.. and seeing that my tv has bluetooth integraded i today went and bought sony's top of the line bluetooth headsett MDR-1RBT. But when trying to connect them, my tv it can't find ANYTHING, not the headsett, my cellphone or any other bluetooth device. ***** sony, this is not expected when you advertise that this tv has bluetooth, i would at least expect your own BT headsett to work. So please dont tell me i just flushed over 250£ down the drain..
Other than that im very happy with the tv.. but please fix the bluetooth
Hi there
Unfortunately you are not going to like this answer, but.... only Blutooth mice can be registered to the TV according to the manual:
http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/13HG900111/EN/c_gset_bluetooth.html
What you need to do is get a refund for the headphones. If purchased over the internet, you can use the 7 day distance selling regulations.
I have a the MDR-DS6500 connected to my PS3 via an optical cable. They are simpy brilliant. Do you have anything else connected to the TV like a soundbar or AV Receiver? If not, these would be suitable.
Cheers
Thank you for the tip.. But i hope sony followes samsung and adds the functionality in a later FW update. i see samsung's system is called soundshare run's via Bluetooth and its compatible all the way back to some 2012 tv models
so it's simply a question of software dev. from sony tv dep. let's hope they bite
