LCD Screen broken - SE support not reacting - What can I do?

As the title basically says it all, my LCD screen has broken. The phone was in my pocket while i was changing a flat tire, after that it was broken. The phone still works, however inside the LCD display has some strange black lines and a piece of the display remains black. I sent several emails through the SE website. The first reaction was that i had sent an email to the wrong support, and that they have forwarded my message to the appropriate support dept. From that request i haven't heard anything yet ( 1 week ago). Since i bought my phone online, the phone originated from Hong Kong. So i sent an email to Hong Kong support. They replied to update the software using the SEUS. I sent them a reply that updating the software didn't help, but i have not received another reply since. I also sent another support request to what i believe is the right support for my location (Aruba, Caribbean), but i didn't get a reply, not even a confirmation of my support request.

So now I don't know what to do with my phone, where I live there is no SE service center or any dealer or anything that can fix it. Any suggestions as to what I can do to get my phone fixed? Many thanks in advance.

There isn't.

The fastest solution would be to see if you can organize a time, through email, where the contact centre can call you.

EDIT: Did you call the 1-800 via landline? cell? VoIP? I tried from the office VoIP and got another company (I'm also in the Caribbean currently).

Try this number for Sony Ericsson HK:

+852 8203 8863
+852 8102 2886 (Xperia™)

I was able to find this numbers on the yellow pages in Hong Kong and from the Chinese SE HK website

Would he need HK or the Caribbean...?

I tried to find a normal number for the Caribbean, but in vain.

Oh! I thought you were all looking for the HK number.

Ginoize bought the phone in HK, but as the repair wouldn't probably be covered by warranty, I thought it might be better if he tries to contact a more local centre.  If he could contcat anyone who could help him it would be a good start...!

No, nor could I.  I'll try again later, if I get the chance...

Okay... since I'm not from around that corner of our little world, I can only provide you with something you might already have had.....

Now there's at least a dozen or so numbers which you can call, and I believe getting the phone to one of the neighboring countries should not be so difficult, no?

Pardon my ignorance if I'm not making any sense or not helping.

Hi again all, thank you for your efforts. I have sent an email support again, this time to US, Venezuela and Colombia, which are a bit closer. I'll post again if I hear anything.

Sushidushi, I thought your name was a coincidence, it made me laugh!
