Rht g900 problem

Ok had my set up for a while now which is ps3 , virgin TiVo connected to my rht g900 receiver which is connected to Sony kdl40w2000  and I have had no problems till last night when the power went off briefly due to a thunder storm now I have sound but no picture,its all ok if I connect TiVo to the tv and ive tried powering down everything etc and checked setups . My reckoning is that it must be a handshake issue but how to solve it I don't know how. Any help please.

I only get sound if the receiver is not connected to tv or tv is switched to a different input ie receiver is av5 tv switched to av4 if I switch it to av5 sound is on for a few seconds then goes .Is it possible that the thunder storm could of damaged the tv out  socket on the reciever
