I wonder what does mean:  "Do not install the Appliance in a confined space such as a bookcase or built-in cabinet?" Can I put the headphones in my closet? I do not want to leave headphones on the desk when I'm not in the workstation.

Hello. This is a generic warning and only applies to TVs, stand-alone speakers and large audio equipment. 

It does not apply to headphones and I think it was included mistakingly. 

You can safely store your headphones in drawers, closets, cabinets, etc, and it's even better if you have the headphones in their protective case that was supplied.
