Hi. i own a DSC-W50 and all of a sudden while i started to snap some photos the motor of the lens couldn't push the lens out. i receive a message to turn the power off and on again but nothing happens. It makes a slight move to push it out but nothing more. Does anybody had any kind of problem like that? Is there any solution to this problem?

This sounds like a mechanical fault within the camera if you can hear the mechanism try and retract or push the lens out without any success. If you have already tried doing a master reset of the camera, it may need to be repaired by a suitable service centre.
