I'm really pleased with my new HX9V but I can't find a continuos shooting mode.
I do not mean a burst function, but simply the option to keep my finger on the shutter button and for the camera to keep taking pictures (as fast as it can - perhaps 1/second?) until I stop pressing the button or the card is full.
Even the 'sport' mode only takes a single shot
Perhaps this could be considered in a future firmware - along with a greater range for autobracket +/- 2EV would be good

Solved! Go to Solution.
There is no separate continuous shooting mode besides the two burst modes (high/low) which will capture 10 frames in one row. So it is not possible to record a greater number of images with shutter button pressed (like it is possible on some DSLR cameras).
Note: It is possible to combine scene modes (e.g. sports mode) with the burst mode.
