I previously posted about my interactions with Sony over screen burn. My tv was just over 2 years old and developed burnt images. Self inflicted said Sony and therefore not covered by the guarantee. Very helpful !
Under the Consumer Rights Act it’s the retailer not the manufacturer who is responsible to the consumer so I took it up with Curry’s /PC World who collected the tv a couple of days later and said it would be back within 7 days repaired, if they could or replaced if not.
They couldn’t repair it so replaced it with the 2019 model. No fuss no argument.

I wish I had the same treatment from Media Markt.
