On my TV I pretty much exclusively use my Xbox One X to watch TV (via OneGuide), Watch streaming services and play games. It is running at 4K with the Xbox managing the resolution of its apps etc. When switching to broadcast television the Xbox switches its HDMI output frequency from 60Hz to the UK standard 50Hz you can tell this since the info banner on the tv reflects this information upon the switch. As well as the HDMI signal switches again when launching Netflix or an HDR compatible game/app. However on occasion when it makes one of the above switches it does not regain its signal; as in the TV displays the 'No Signal. Check the external input...' message and it will not regain the signal unless I power cycle the TV and/or the Xbox since both seem to work. I gather it is the TV from when it displays the 'No Signal...' message i can switch the HDMI plug from 2 to 3 and it displays fine. It seems to be an odd quirk and I am not sure where else to go with the issue.
Thanks for your help.
Hi batman55,
I guess you can try to first update the TV, the update link is here: https://bit.ly/2JZY4Dl. Then Try to reset the TV to factory defaults from Home - Settings - Storage and Reset - Factory settings.
Try using different HDMI cables with higher speed. Also, try if this happens again to unplug the HDMI cable from the Xbox and then plug it back without removing it from the TV, will you get the image back?

Shall i still update even though it is already on the latest update? i shall try factory reset it and if it happens again i will do as you described.
Thanks
Hi batman55,
No, if the TV is running on the same software version which is v6.5603, then there is no need to update. You can get the software version from Home - Help - System information.
