Z5 Camera - Blue tint on edges of low light photos

I have noticed in low-light photos, in both Superior Auto and Manual mode that there is a blue tint on the edges of low light photos, especially more on the left side. The only way I've noticed I can really mitigate it is if I lower the ISO on manual mode, but then the photos would end up being too dark.

I have seen this issue discussed on other forums; some say it is a hardware issue, some software, and others say a camera module replacement may fix it. But I don't think Sony has officially ever acknowledged this issue, even though it is definitely present.

Here are some example photos

Notice the heavy blue tinting on the edges..

Same on my Z5 Premium Worried_Face

Just a software issue on all Z5 series I think

I'd like to know if everyone here are having this problem or just me, you and some 3 or 4 cats here ...

And I'd like to know from Sony what's their answer to this BIG PROBLEM that denies the dict "Best Camera in a Smartphone" if then produces blue tint everywhere at lowlight

I have this problem as well, It's not a problem with the sensor (or it's a problem with a lot of them). I had my unit sent in for repair last week to a Sony servicee point, they completely changed the camera module. You guys who says lowering the ISO solves it aren't completely right. The blue data is still there, it's just not as noticable. I'm going to try to get my phone completely swapped out. It seems like this is a very widely spread problem, in fact i haven't seen any proof of devices without the issue, apart from DxOMark who praises it completely and says this problem doesn't exist on their unit.

I think to have manifested a lot of example and try with video about the problem, but no a word about it and every Z5 around the world has this problems and fortunatelly I avoided to send it to repair because is useless :S

Just had a go to see if I had the same problem, and it would seem I do.

i have said in other posts about the unrealistic colours produced in every option available, but I had not looked at the blue tinge that was mentioned until today. I just cannot believe a phone that is advertised as such a fantastic camera phone produces such poor quality photos. Quite clearly this I a problem that needs reporting at the highest level and not just mentioned on this forum.

With the phones overheating problem, which I also thought might be the cause of the blue tinge, the rapid power drain when using any sort of function, and this apparent problem with the camera. It would seem that an inferior quality product has been put on the market without proper testing.

If anyone knows the proper people to contact, not just Sony, then please provide details so that we can all forward out complaints to the right authorities.

All that sends me in crazy is that there's no answer by Sony Official STAFF on a high priority problem.

A lot of shoots, selfies or rear shoots, have a blue tint over ...

One day, should I see this blue tint ?

Have I to let see this blue tints to my parents or my future child ?

These photos are totally ruined and I documented everything's wrong

So let me know with who Have I to talk to report this bad problem

Managed to get info on the blue tinge problem from mobile phone shop salesperson.

it is caused by the overheating of the phone, and as this is hardware not software you need to contact Sony. If your phones are in warrantee then it is best to email Sony and request exchange or repair.

also informed that battery drain is not across the board so it may be possible to request exchange or repair for that too.
