Xperia Z1s can not connect to bluetooth

I can't connect bluetooth to either my car or headphones or any devices after I did a master reset on my phone that was not updating anymore. Freezing my apps

Test bluetooth

Settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test bluetooth

you can also repair the phone with XC >>> Xperia Companion

In addition to the steps Uliwooly suggested, I recommend you test your handset in safe mode and see if you are experiencing the same bluetooth and performance issues.
