Hi everyone! I just got my Z1 last week and I noticed that the charge time was way slow compared to the other smartphones that I had its take almost 8-10hrs to charge full from a dead flat battery... is this normal??? Ive seen a couple of complains about it on the net seems like a fault...
It shouldn't take so long, perhaps its a software issue, but 8hrs wow, repair your phone with sus if that doesn't work then take it to a Sony repair center
Mine takes about 8 hours ( and not from dead.. From maybe 5%)... And it's from a wall socket. That's very annoyingly slow. This is my second z1, the first one had broken power button, both were sllllooooow

Hope this is not connected, and I had a little laugh. But above the original poster said he "just bought a 2 amp charger"... and then no further replies. If it ships with a 1.5 amp charger, and you used a 2amp charger would you blow the internal circuits. I just laughed a little when there was no further update from the OP.
As you have pointed out, this is a very bad idea. I would only ever advise that people use the official and original charger at all times for use with our handsets. The use of third party charger, particular one that increases the amps has the potential to seriously damage the device and can be quite dangerous.

I think its a fault... or battery not good? i have one i sent back, not keep power long and takes full day to charge, home,pc,or car, very slow, and goes flat fast. 😕
