When you press the lock button to turn on the screen lock the device is unresponsive and a screen appears that says Restart or Shutdown the device, while sleep mode does not work

could you try to turn off your device completely? long press on power button

then turn it on again, if you are able to do this., it might be caused by an app. try to review your recent app installs and updates to see when did this started. or better yet try to observe your device on safe mode..

if it still occurs it might be a hardware problem. try to have your device checked at your local sony service center,. Local support
