Software update icon on notification bar

 I have a Z2 with lolipop 5.1.1 and I can't get rid of the software update icon on the notification bar. Is it possible to hide it?

Hi.

There is newer version for your device.

The last android version of Z2 is 6 (Marshmallow) so you can update your phone to the last version. 

Check http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiaz2/ for more updates informations

But for hide that with lower version. 

Go this way:

Settings > apps > system apps > software update > clear data

But after that again you will get update notification. 

So update your phone to the last version.
