thanks this option disapper on the 4.2.2 update, and with the long press combo volume down and power button works ok.

You have to press the power and volume down buttons at exactly the same time.

it worked perfectly fine, it gets FHD screenshots 1920*1080, nice feature. Just hold power and down volume for 2 or 3 secs and VIOALA your screen is in your album...

Yes, I should have known better than to trust that a software update would make things better. I should have learned from what used to happen at work!

I am sorry some of you are having trouble with this, however to expand one something mentioned earlier in this thread you can use the min app. function to capture a screenshot as well via these steps:  Mini App Button (bottom right corner of screen) > Tap the upwards pointing arrow in the bottom left corner > Active Clip.

It's only like the iPhone, having to use two hands and this was you don't need to take you finger/thumb off the button to tap the screen to select what you want. In my book it's a more logical way to go TumBear. Not ridiculous* at all. If you dislike it that much, get a more basic phone, Motorola Razor, Samsung Toco perhaps?
