Hi from the Philippines, i have a Sony Z5 Premium, actually, this is the 2nd one, the first purchased froze after a few hour of use, and was hot like a heating pad. It was replaced by the Dealer in Dubai with no problems. Unfortunately, the 2nd one is a problematic one as well, still hot, battery performance is terrible, especially after the last Android 7 update, now the worst came....

I carry the phone in a propper leather case with a plastic keeper inside, in order to avoid damages. On the occasion of cleaning the case, i removed the phone and found this.... The back cover of the phone delaminated, the front cover is bulge and cracked the Gorilla glas cover... Is that the quality i should expect from a Premium Priced High end Phone????

I'm having the same problems but worse. The phone either shuts down or simply doesn't repond. I need this phone for work and this problem caused a major problem today. I have had 3 Sony phones in succession, mostly because I like the camera. Sadly this will be the last.

Sony companion completly bank! Has it repaired? Or have I just totally stuffed my phone following Sony advise!

Phone was going hot and shutting down after 7.0 upgrade. Feeling it now it is hot. I now have a dead phone.

is it your network that is stopping Sony from releasing the fix?

After update

- unable to delete photos

- disconnects from wifi, has to reboot to reconnect.

- eats battery

- hot

- slow

I have waited 8 months to update my OS as i know there is always issues, but now i got sick of this nag-screen and how do i regret this choice, my phone has been rendered almost useless. How can i revert to android 6? This at least worked normaly.

Hello from greece...I have a z5 premium too...and I have the same problems...Wifi shuts down all the time and reconects again but with no "connection" !!!And my second problem is that I can't use my headphones cause my phone doesn't recognize them...Any headphones...All these problems came up after Android update...Sony please help otherwise ill will never pay so much money again to your brand...im so dissapointed...and I send it for service and nothing helped...

There is no update fix and there is no android 8 update...so you have to try with their service...If you find a solution, I would like you to inform me if it's possible!!!If you have any questions feel free to ask me..
