How do I change the notification tone for text messages on a XZ

To change the notification tone for the Messaging application in Android Oreo, please follow the steps below.

1. Find and tap Settings > Apps & notifications > App info.
2. Select Messages, then tap App notifications.
3. Tap the text "Messaging" > Sound. Choose the notification that you want to hear when you receive a text message.
