I have been looking into this for you @HennyT,
If you swipe down the quick settings menu (Swipe down from the top of the screen twice) there is an option for "Do Not Disturb". If it is not there, press the pencil icon to edit your quick settings and drag it down.
Using the quick setting you can choose between "Silent", "Alarms only" and "Priority only".
Hi @HennyT,
Welcome to the community.
The feature is now called Do not disturb, though it should behave in a similar way to priority mode.
Can you please make sure that you have the rule set up to allow starred contacts? To do this, please go to Settings > Sound & notification > Do not disturb > Priority only allows > Calls > From starred contacts only.
The setup I have is as below and when this person texts/calls it doesn't buzz or ring.
What am I doing wrong?
Might I also add that the "call a second time within 15 minute" function also is not working. The person called me twice in two minutes and still silent.
Thank you!
Try un-favourite the contacts, close the contacts app (or preferably restart the phone), then re-favourite them. In case DnD isn't recognising they are favourites.

I'm not sure if you're the only one with this issue, but I personally have not come accross it before. If you set it to "Contacts only" instead of starred contacts, does it work?
