I have my z5 and have been having problem for blurry pictures taken from the rear camera for quite sometime . My unit is not even one year. My z1 compact is way clearer and better.
yes agreed it is a 100% a software issue. it really is a joke the camera on the z3. sony should be ashamed. and the worst thing is even after so many complaints they did jack all about it. my $100 alacatel takes better pictures.
Everything in my phone went well before, until i tried to update some applications as it popped up to my notification about syatem update. After updating i noticed that my front cam started to capture blurry pictures and the battery life drained immediately. I went back to sony xperia store they tried to restart everything and install the sony hardware to my phone that will make the hardware new again. But none of their steps helped my phone and back to normal again. What should i do? Pls Phelp
Tried force stop and clear data. 70% + of the time it still takes a crap photo. Worst camera phone I've had for years. Switched back to Sony for the camera and it's been very disappointing since day 1. Samsung for next phone.
The front facing camera its of course not as great as the main camera, the sensor its quite small and its only 2.2mp, as far as the rear camera the problem is that its scratched, again, you will have to replace the camera module.
