I have Z1 Compact 4.4.2 (updated to the latest version)
I cannot pair my phone to my car handsfree system (Nokia Ck-1W)
I know, this handsfree kit is not the newest, but my children's Samsung Ace device , my wife's iPhone 4S and my old Xperia Neo devices are working with it
Is there any solution?
I already tried the factory reset, without any result.
I really know the pairing code - as I wrote other devices can connect without any problem.
I have on my car the Nokia Ck-7W, encountered the same problem after changing my previous Xperia V with the new Z1c.
What worked in my case was to empty the pairing list of the car kit and afterwards to pair with the new Z1c. As I know my car kit can hold up to 7 paired devices, but for whatever reason, the Z1c wants to be the only one in this list...
The way to do that is to long press on the bluetooth button of the kit when the kit led is off (car ignition off) until you hear a long beep. After that, turn on the bluetooth on the Z1c making sure it's discoverable and start the kit (by turning the ignition contact on usually) and it should work. Even if it is a dinosaur, this kit worked perfect with many smartphone models and I would not change it unless changing the car...
I don't know about you, but for me carkit pairing with only 1 phone (mine) is enough in my car, so if you can live with this, give it a go, it should work.
I have tried this , but unfortunatly my problem wasn't solved.
So I have reset the CK-1W, try the pairing with my Z1C, but I got same error message
Sorry to hear that...
Maybe sounds stupid to ask, but was your Bluetooth in "discovery mode" on the Z1c when you tried to pair them?
Sometimes it's the little things that matter a lot... Other than that, I would not know what else to suggest...
Well, my Z1C has founded the Nokia CK-1W, asked the pairing code, but couldn't connect. I got an error message, that the key is wrong. (but I connected with this default 0000 key with other devices - my old Sony, Samsung, iPhone - so the key is good.)
I have tried to connect to this Nokia with my friend's Z1 - I got same error.
I have tried connect to other handsfree - Parrot 3000 - with my Z1C - I got same error..
So I hope the next firmware upgrade will solve may problem
I'm having the same problem Xperia Z1 Compact won't pair to Nokia CK-1W car kit. Phone can see the car kit but when you type in the passcode, the phone says it's not accepted (Have tried the code that came with the kit and both the defaults suggested). Have reset the hands free kit to clear all other devices and both phone and car kit are visible etc. Phone pairs ok to sat nav. Latest firmware upgrade hasn't solved it either. Fix eagerly awaited please Sony!

I will not work with CK-1W for some reasons but it will work with CK-7W. They seems to be identcal but the central modul in CK-1W is HFW-1 and CK-7W has HF-5. Bluetooth version is the same - 1.1
