Quick charge 3.0 tested vs regular charger no difference

I have three Xz Premiums. I bought the official Sony quickcharge 3.0 wall adapter. 

I drained two devices to 1% then plugged them in. One to the Qc 3.0 plug and one to the Sony charger that came in the box with the Xz Premium.

When the Qc phone was at 60% the regular phone was at 40%. So far so good. By the time the QC phone was at 99% the regular phone was at 95%.

Is this working as intended? If so what a waste of time and effort

@Vandurlast QuickCharge slows down charging rate when reaching around 80% NY design, so it seems to me that all is fine with your phones.
