Problem updating apps

I get download pending so I have to clear storage in the Play store so I can update apps. This gets to be very annoying.

How much free internal storage does your device has?

Are you using WiFi or Data to update the apps?

Do you experience the same with other routers ?

Not sure, I always update at home. My wife has a XA2,Oreo,40GB and no problem updating at home. I will have to see if I can update on a friend's Wifi.
