I have a 45w PD charger (omars) and it works pretty well without any issues. The thing about PD charger is communication between phone and charger (USB C). The phone will communicate with the charger to deliver the amount of watts needed at any time , so chances of over charging is virtually eliminated (provided it's a good charger) .
