Facebook removal

I think that this will explains why users can't remove Facebook app.

I think Facebook behaviour towards its users and their privacy is simply insulting and ignorant.  Why they just allow to continue this? I don't trust fb for a second. At least Sony can do, is allow fb app removal.

Thanks, i know adb tools, but it can't really remove FB app. It can only remove it out sight.  Rooting is only option to remove unwanted apps permanently. If i do that, i will lose functionality of some important apps and warranty.

FB steals userdata even those who don't use its services.  I'm so annoyed this exploitation and stealing of users personal data especially by the FB and Google, that i seriously consider to move pure Linux based phone like Librem 5.  That will cause some problems, but if i can get back my privacy with that, i will happily pay the price.

I agree with you 100% Facebook is the worst app company I've ever had to deal with they are communist if you do not believe in what they believe in they will take you off for that I want to get rid of them off of every device I own I'd. Them but they still get to use my storage or ask anybody on here they know how to get rid of them

How long is temporarily?

I bought my Sony phone outrught network free and unlocked with no contract. It cost me a nice amount of money. So I wouldn't have expected any social media software  removing it not just disabling it. I bought another phone made by Huawei it cost a fraction of the cost of the Sony and didn't come with any social media on. Plus it's got similar specs I just didn't like the interface. So why can't Sony on an update allow all media that isn't their own to be uninstall especially Facebook after all the problems that they have caused with personal data, or is it that Sony are getting kick backs from Facebook there is a possibility Sony could face legal action in the EU because we the users of these phones with social media apps locked in can't remove them and they are in breach of data protection because we didn't Sony explicit rights to share our data with facebook. And we all know Sony will say but if you disable facFaceb app it won't send the information out. How do we know it won't.
