Z5 Compact Reset factory itself

Had my phone in my pocket and when I took it out it had factory reset alone. Is there any log I can check to see what happened?

Could you first of all make sure that you have not changed the user via Settings > Users > Owner. 

Otherwise, did you have an Exchange account on your phone? An Exchange account may have the policy to wipe the phone if wrong pattern/PIN-code has been entered to many times.
