Z4 Tablet and heating issues with Snapdragon 810 chipset

There is now clear evidence coming out of serious overheating problems with the Z4 phone in Asia, which has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset as the Z4 tablet. These overheating issues have been widely publicised with phones released already with this chipset by other manufacturers.

Will Sony guarantee these issues will not occur with the larger Z4 Tablet (it's larger size may help dissipate heat, possibly)?

If not, I wonder if I should be cancelling my pre-order

We know that some people in the UK have received their Z4 tablet already from suppliers like Expansys, and that a number of other countries have not experienced supply problems like the UK.

So, my question is: have you noticed any problems with overheating, or does the larger size, non-glass back and larger battery acting as a heatsink mean that there has not been a problem in comparison with the Z3+?

Can we be sure that all Xperia Z4 Tablets running the new 2.1 version of Snapdragon 810? Is there a way to check this?

No overheating issues here after two weeks of heavy use. There is a spot that gets rather warm in the top middle (landscape) when really pushing it; but it's no worse than I've experienced with my iPads (for comparison).

Battery life is excellent. I run it without a case, which I highly recommend. The type of plastic they use doesn't mar easily and is comfortable in the hand. I play games on it quite a bit.
