Z3 Compact GPU Frequency Stock at 330 mhz

Hello Sony

Sorry for my bad English.

I noticed my GPU maximum frequency is 330MHZ (checked with Qualcomm Trepn Profiler App) and I cant play Even Crazy taxi smoothly!

I'm on Android 5.0, Does anyone has this problem? Can someone check gpu frequency? Is your games smooth?

Is this with android 5.0 or 4.4 have this problem too?

This might be dumb to ask, but nobody else has asked so far...

Do you have Stamina Mode On?

Because the "Extended Usage" setting will reduce performance.

I play Modern Combat 5 very smoothly, even on my TV using an MHL 3.0 adapter and a Dual Shock 3 Controller...

The only game that I have and stutter a bit is Principia when there is extremely complicated contraptions. And some games that I won't mention on certain Emulators that I also won't mention, but that is probably an inherent problem due to emulation itself

No actually it was a good point because in xda someone fixed it by disabling Stamina mode, but sadly didnt work for me.

It's very intresting, While im running 3dmark Benchmark app GPU jumps to 578 MHZ and while playing asphalt it's just 330 and sometimes 380MHZ!

What about if you try other games like GTA or The dark knight or FIFA?

Well at first I also thought that my phone was limited to 200 and then 330 MHz as well... But then I realized that it was my app (System Monitor Small App, by Hansip87) that was set to update every 10 seconds... So I changed it to 1 sec interval and played MC5 and the GPU does indeed jump to 578 MHz from time to time which is the maximum for Adreno 330.

@dquilon I'm using qualcomm app for monitoring CPU and Gpu, it has real time monitoring.

OK it's weird, no response from Sony. I hope with Z4 coming they dont forget this amazing phone.

I was reading forum posts and thank god i dont have any of others problems. Android 5.0 on my Z3 compact is awesome and everything is working very fast. GPS work great and locate me in a few seconds. Sound quality, captured image quality, etc are just perfect.

I think they just should work on product support and better user experience. I love Microsoft because they have a site that you can tell them what you think is better for next update, and will seee it on upcoming windows 10.

Sony is making very beautiful and high quality products with amazing interface ( This is my opinion ). But it looks like themselves don't know this!

I would love to see some Sony official members in this forum those who are responding to the Users comments all day, not just some times and some questions.

I think Sony can beat Samsung easily, because their phones are so ugly with it's ridiculous home button and design and user interface. I just love their AMOLED screen and that's all!
