Xperia Z ultra display turns on continuously when fully charged

I have owned this for for little over a month now and for that time, when the device was fully charged the screen would turn on. Once the screen time out or manualy pressing the power button turns the display off, the display would instantly turn back on again!

No, its not locked to a specific network

You should stop by a sony service.

Do you have any apps that could be forcing your device to stay awake and keep the screen on?

Consider booting into safemode and testing to see if it is an app

The problem still presists even in safemode.

Had same issue and even worse when I switched off the device the Sony logo would come on and off and finally the battery drained.

i even flashed stock rom and did all repairs via Kies etc.

Finally, Had to send off my device for checkup at service center - still waiting to hear.

@GetOff I find that hard to believe as kies is for Samsung not Sony.
