Good evening all.
I'm writing this topic, because I've searched a lot on the web with no results at all.
I want to unlock the boot loader for my Xperia T.
I followed Your guide on this subject, but I had some troubles.
The very first problem is that I can't start my phone in fastboot mode; I unlocked the developer's features, I turned it off and I connected it with USB 2.0 on my Desktop holding the Volume (+) rocker: a small blue led appears on the phone, but it becomes red in few seconds.
I've already downloaded the Fastboot drivers from the official developers' section on the Sony site and extracted in DIR:\platform-tools\[...]\usb_driver, but I'm locked even before starting.
I've tried to look around the web, but this model seems to be abandoned.
I would really appreciate Your help.
Thanks.
Did you check the menu to see if you can unlock your bootloader otherwise all this effort will be in vain
Thanks for answering.
Yes, I checked it and the boot loader's unlocking option is set on YES.
Have you installed Fastboot or simply added the driver - You may need to overwrite the current driver with a modified one or your Pc is the issue and maybe because you are running a 64bit system or is Win8 or above
Thanks again.
Yes, I'm actually running Windows 7 - 64bit version.
I've basically followed the steps on this guide:
How to Install CyanogenMod on Sony Xperia T "MINT"
In particular, I'm locked into the steps:
fastboot getvar version
I've tried to enter the following string
fastboot devices
too, in order to check the device's status, but CMD returned " <waiting for devices>".
I obviously moved to the SDK folder, by entering:
CD [DIRECTORY]\platform-tools\
in which "fastboot.exe" is located.
I haven't installed Fastboot, but I've followed the step in the Sony's guide in which I'm supposed to overwrite the file "android_winusb.inf" located in [...]\google\usb_driver.
Thanks.
P.S. I haven't installed the Sony's software for Xperia on my PC; I'm just running with default's Windows drivers.
Did you connect your device in fastboot mode and did the drivers install then check for device that are connected
