X10 New Update in South Africa

Do any one of you know when the new Android update 2.2 is coming to South Africa??

there is NO 2.2 update yet anywhere, even Europe is still stuck on 1.6.

Yes, indeed.  2.1 will begin to be released late this quarter - so next month.  Nothing has been said at all about 2.2 yet, although Sony Ericsson have mentioned that there will be further updates, which I assume will include 2.2, unless (very unlikely?) they decide to skip it and go straight to 3.0 or something...
