X10 mini pro - Very slow

My new x10 mini pro is very slow.

Is this a general problem?

Will this be better when the new Android update arrives?

I've got:

firmware 1.6

Kernesystem 2.6.29

Version: 1.1.A.0.8

Does anyone have any tips on how to make the phone faster?

It's slow because android doesn't handle multitasking as well as it should.

The easiest solution is to install an app called 'advanced task killer' (free version is fine) and kill the apps that aren't needed

Hopefully when they update the android to 2.1 or better, there will be an improvement.

Hi,

I have seen reports in other forums where users are claiming their X10 mini pro got very slow after they have installed a specific App.

Maybe you have recently installed some app that is causing the problem? Because in general the X10 mini pro seems to be pretty fast and responsive.

To name one application, ADW Launcher seems to make the X10 lagging. Maybe you are using some similar app?

Hmm... I'm not sure how to check which apps, that might be the problem. Any tips?

I've had advanced task killer on my earlier owned x10, but it did wierd stuff to my phone, so I uninstalled it. Maybe I should give it a go one more time.

just make sure only apps you want to kill are selected

Installed Advanced Task killer - And it DID help! Thanks.

So far, no messing around with my phone and apps.

Does any of you know how to set a couple of apps to never be killed per default?

In the app's main screen, tap and hold the app that you want to ignore. A new menu should pop up. Select "ignore".

To see the list of ignored apps, in the main screen, press the "more" button (the hardware button with the 4 squares). Choose "Setting", then "Ignore List".
