Yes,but think that those lens have optical zoom not digital zoom,the quality is not lost there.Just check some photos take in low light by SGS5 or any other and crop them,see what you get.Almost nothing.

i have repeated manytimes that xperia tx has 13 mp oppo and one plus one has 13mp of sony made and they are better low performance vs z1 ......i can conform and guarantee that it is a software issue it started with xperia z zl and zr to z1 this high level of noise was never present in old xperia phones gs5 is a very poor performer in low light but see

over here it beats z1 easily why because of the software is not right something is wrong noise present in daylight pictures for z2 some thing needs to be done

Why are you trying so hard to cover up Sony Mobile fault in camera issues? Ghani667 is not they only one who has the issues.

You are a moderator here, not the owner of Sony Mobile Company. Please just state your position. Don't act like you're the owner. Covering Sony Mobile's fault that everyone already knows just makes you look like a decoy.

here is all the things sony mobile team should do

1 fix the camera software back to its roots like old days

2 remove all the other bugs like slight heating and batterydrain

3 add features from xperia z2 (4k is not needed) add 1080p60fps, timeshift video,and some software features like tap to wake and others like those sensors one

result instant sales people will buy z1 because it will be the best cameraphone around along side z1c and z2

wow sony just wow sony what is this the 20.7 with 1/2.3 sensor is useless now when we the costumers all know its failing because of the software why create expensive hardware then dont provide good software for first fix the software for z1 z1c and z2 then release this in new models with excellent software for low light

I am also facing the same problem.

Bt it is only when I am keeping flash on.

If I keep my flash off, I get nice pics(a little dark) but as compared to earlier, they are better.

my only complain is the software sony is providing us the level of grain and noise is so high when you crop a picture in good light indoor there are no details my friends eyebrows are gone when i did 100% crop lol sony fix this software post over processong look at my cat its daylight in my room but when i do 100% crop wow high level of grain and noise
